“HOUSE OF CULTURE”

Last Monday TASOT students went to visit "House of Culture", this is a public access library where you can find many services including books, magazines, etc..
I found very interesting the services provided to the various groups that exist.
It has a very flexible table time that permits students and workers, access to morning and afternoon; the library also has access to people with disabilities to enable them to access the center's facilities.

I encourage everyone to visit the library, it's very useful.

The 3 rd Tricontinental Craftwork Fair

On the 12  of October in the Recinto Ferial of S/C de Tenerife, it will be celebrated the 3 rd  Tricontinental Craftwork Fair. We will show you the crafts of Asia, Europe, America, etc.  It’s the 3^rd fair that is celebrated in S/C de Tenerife and this is the reason why it will be brought the sign of differents cultures of the continents in the world.

Artisans from different countries like, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Spain, etc.

- Hours: Public opening hours from 9:00 to 20:00 pm

- Tickets: the tickets cost only 3 euros per person

Topic about love.

I want to speak with this topic because I see very important that often we do not stop to think what we can feel when we show love that makes us feel, cry, happiness, and many feelings.

Love, to speak in a way, moves the world.

All of us were born through the love that our parents had in some point in their lives.

We deceived ourselves thinking that not to know anything about that person, you give your heart, will facilitate their forgetfulness. I have come to the conclusion that never exist guidelines, rules need to be followed to the downside or negative that makes us feel love.

We should be guided more by the heart, for a look that by reason or what people think.

The phrase of “ fight for love” is very common where the relationship is dying, but is so difficult to carry it out…

“wanting and not be able”, two people that they love and can,t be together by situations life, never lose contact because need some nice words that help forward.

From my point of view love must be cared for like a child, crew slowly until a point of view that person and you know you will spend the rest of your life with her/him.

Love for me, the feel that I can make you feel all the emotions of the world.

Theatre, the best part of culture

 

"In Federico García Lorca's short life (1898-1936), executed during the Spanish Civil War at the age of 38, poetry seems more related to his first period than theatre, the second one. This division, originated by the big quantity of poems and dramas in the different periods of his existence, does not respond to  reality, since the writer used to alternate one with another.

In addition to this, in his theatre, as we can check in Yerma, poetry, symbols, metaphors, images and popular songs irrigate the plot. The spectator who sees Yerma in María Guerrero Theatre, will experiment many different feelings."

I envy people who can go to the theatre and enjoy the special and so characteristic Lorca's way of put into words the Spanish essence and the universal feeling that almost once in life all of us have felt.

Lorca's gift to write has attracted me since the early age of eight, when my father gave me as a precious present two books: Yerma and Federico García Lorca for children. 

The first one, Yerma tells the story of a sterile woman who can't enjoy free love and sex. It's moving, for this reason, I recommend to read it or see it in the theatre.

* Beauty and the Beast, the musical

Beauty and the Beast is a musical based on the 1991 Disney film of the same name, with an international message for all the people: “Beauty is on the inside”.

Is one of the most acclaimed music internationally, around than 35 million viewers have moved around the world with this great Disney classic that endures over time. Now the magic of his spectacular production is realized in his first national tour which will travel just 17 cities.

The love story with more magic that never has had a great display of costumes, visual effects, and magic actors make it a unique spectacle worth seeing.

The musical was this month of January in Tenerife (Canary Islands) and will be in 11 to 27 January in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) then travel to different cities in the rest of Spain until 18 August of  2013. We hope you will be excited to go. Feel the magic!.

Visit the Pyramids of Güímar!

One of the most interesting places for you to visit. The complex offers you the posibillity of investigate about the mysterious buildings found in Güímar., whose exact origins are an enigma.

The lion king, musical

 

The Lion King is the musical most significant in history, it is establishing as the most successful musical in the box office since it opened nearly 15 years ago. With the unmistakable stamp of quality Disney, production has reached international fame and artistic recognition. The music is represented in 13 countries and translated into seven languages, with Spain being the first Spanish-speaking country where music is represented and hand of Stage Entertainment, producer of hits like Mamma Mia! and Les Miserables.

The music from the creative genius of Julie Taymor, songs of Elton Jon and Tim Rice's musical vision and Lebo M. and Hans Zimmer. Joining the creative team has resulted in a work of visual and auditory art that has garnered international awards to 70 and there are more than 60 million viewers in the world who have enjoyed the experience of watching The Lion King.

The music is composed with more than 50 actors playing the familiar story of Simba with a subtle and innovative blend of rhythms, dances and African forms represented in spectacular animated sculptures, sophisticated costumes and stunning scener.

The Theater Lope de Vega in Madrid's Gran Vía, hosts the musical since its release last fall, a super production forcing reform the theater completely, pushing the gender in Spain to Broadway standards.

Information for the viewer:

The Lion King is a musical suitable for all audiences but as a suggestion to parents recommend that children should not be less than 6 years.

All viewers who access the theater, regardless of age must have their input, and it warns that strobe lights are used several times during the performance.

The calendar of the entries at present available for sale does not mean the end of the season.
